Whoop De' It Is.

So I don't have much to say, but now I have somewhere to say it.
My Shakespeare prof told us that he had a dream in which Frank Zappa had him by the shoulders and was shaking him and saying "PAUL, WHAT ARE WE HERE FOR? WHAT ARE WE HERE FOR?" Somehow that seems less like a dream and more like the real Frank Zapppa trying to get live English Profs to tell him what existence is about since he is not having the funnest time in the afterlife.
One very funny thing that happened this year was that I read "the Phaedrus". This is a dialoge by Plato. Now, at the College I went to last year we read a bunch of exerpt from the Phaedrus, and it was all about the soul and it's different components and other things like that. The funny thing is, the prof. who picked the exerpts last year chopped it up just enough that we wouldn't really see what it was actually about. The actual topic of the Phaedrus is beautiful boys. Greek men love them. It's still a really great piece but it is mostly about how much or how little and in what way one should love beautiful boys.

I'm probably not going to update this too often.
